Who we are, or rather who I am ....

Hello everyone!
My name is Matteo, and I’m the owner of Chalet Matteo. I’ve always been passionate about sports — first as an athlete, and now as an instructor. I come from a family deeply rooted in tourism, with a long tradition in hospitality. In 2002, I decided to follow that path and create something of my own — Chalet Matteo.

Our chalet is a typical Livigno house, consisting of a main building and an adjoining barn. The property has been completely renovated, blending modern comfort with the charm of its historical structure.

For over 23 years, Chalet Matteo has built a strong reputation among families, who love the convenience of letting their children reach the ski slopes safely — there are no roads to cross! Guests also appreciate our unbeatable location, right next to the San Rocco slopes and in the heart of Livigno’s second center, San Rocco, an area known for its peaceful atmosphere and wide range of facilities, from supermarkets to restaurants.

I am truly proud and grateful to welcome guests from all over the world every year and to see so many of them return time after time. Excellent restaurants and shops are just steps away, making Chalet Matteo the perfect base for your Livigno experience.

I’m constantly working to improve our services and to make every stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. What I value most is the personal connection with my guests — based on trust, warmth, and mutual respect.
