Who we are, or rather who I am ...

Good morning everyone!
Let me introduce myself: I am Matteo, the owner of Chalet Matteo. I am an athlete and have dedicated my whole life to sports, first as an athlete and then as a Ski Instructor.

My family has always been passionately and committedly involved in the tourism and hospitality sector, and from them I learned a love for hospitality. In 2002 I decided to start my own adventure with Chalet Matteo, combining tradition and modernity.

Chalet Matteo was a typical Livigno home: a house with an attached stable. From that original structure, I wanted to create a completely renovated environment, while keeping intact the charm and features of the historic residence.

It has now been 23 years that I have been carrying on this adventure, and I am deeply proud of it. Every year I joyfully welcome many guests, many of whom return regularly, who appreciate not only the structure but also the family atmosphere that can be felt here.

Luckily, the Chalet is in a truly privileged position: right on the San Rocco slopes, allowing you to return home with your skis on. It is the ideal place for families, who can let their children ski safely without having to cross roads.

The San Rocco area is considered the second center of Livigno, but with a big difference: it is much quieter and less busy. In the immediate vicinity there are excellent restaurants, shops, and everything you need to enjoy your holiday in full comfort.

I want to continue to improve and grow Chalet Matteo, always keeping alive the relationship of trust and friendship that is created with my guests.
